How do I Arrive at the Hotel from the Airport?

The island’s airstrip is in San Pedro Town, 5 minutes from the Mayan Princess Hotel. Guests arriving at the airport can take a taxi to the Mayan Princess Hotel for only $10 US for a maximum of 4 people.

Is there a Restaurant at the Mayan Princess Hotel?

While we do not have a restaurant, several restaurants are nearby and within walking distance.

How do I Get Around Once on the Island?

All amenities are within comfortable walking distance of the Mayan Princess. Alternatively, many taxis operate around the San Pedro hotel district. Guests may also rent golf carts or bicycles through the hotel concierge.

What Items/Clothing Should Guests Bring to the Island?

Is San Pedro Safe for Tourists?

San Pedro is very safe for tourists, and there is a helpful and friendly tourist police force and information desk on the island to help visitors.

Is the Water Safe to Drink from the Taps?

We recommend purchasing drinking water, which is widely available, or refilling your drinking water upon request (charge incurred). We can also pre-stock your room upon request (charge incurred). Complimentary drinking water is present in your accommodation upon your arrival.

Can I Exchange Money on the Island, and What is the Exchange Rate?

There are several banks and professional money-changing offices throughout San Pedro. The exchange rate is $2 (BZD) = $1 (USD). Either currency is widely accepted.

How Far in Advance do I Need to Cancel my Reservation to Receive a Refund?

All reservation cancellations made more than 30 days before the date of arrival are entitled to a full refund. All cancellations done within 30 days before arrival are nonrefundable.

The hotel staff is fluent in English, Spanish, and Belizean Creole.
