If you’re going to take advantage of some of the best diving anywhere in the world, you’re going to need a diving ticket, or you’re going to have to arrange to learn to dive while you’re here. Both are highly recommended. But diving isn’t the only reason to explore the shallower and clear waters off Ambergris Caye.
All you need is a snorkel and a mask to see an abundance of colorful and varied sea inhabitants right off the waterline in front of Mayan Princes. Any time of day, just walk a few steps away from your beachfront hotel and into the warm waters of the Caribbean. With the largest, most spectacular reef in the Western Hemisphere, the Belize Barrier Reef, nearly 500 species of fish found in our local waters.
We have over 160ft of beach and a private pier if you want to stay in close, but we can also direct you to some other hot spots that “only the locals” know.
