Belize’s Blue Hole is often listed as a “bucket list” dive adventure. Visible from space, it is truly a stunning natural wonder, and here in San Pedro we’re lucky to be just a boat ride away.
Forbes recently came out with an article listing “The 8 Most Amazing Underwater Caves Around The World” with the Great Blue Hole listed first! Not only are there a series of caverns within it but divers can also see large stalactites and other geological formations. Of course, there is no shortage of marine life to enjoy as well, including nurse sharks, reef sharks, and more.
We are happy to offer the Blue Hole as one of the dives available with Amigos Del Mar dive center, located on the dock right in front of our hotel. Check it off your bucket list and enjoy the boat ride to the Lighthouse Reef Atoll while you’re at it!
